Take a break.

photo credit: one & two. lettering by me.

I've been feeling a little overwhelmed over the past couple of weeks. It's just that time of the semester, I guess. Luckily, spring break starts at 11:50am today. I'm still stuck in Cleveland (yay, work), but hey, it's a break--I'll take it. Honestly, I'm just ready to be done with school. As much as I love learning, I'm ready to move on to new things. I know, I know--I'll miss it so much when it's over, but I'm ready to start a new adventure and focus on other things.

I want to have more time to:

Write more.
Blog more.
Take more pictures.
Go hiking.
Read.
Go on adventures.
Plan my wedding!
Make things.
Be creative.

I want to have time to just be.

I have a few things that have to get done this week, but I'm hoping I can manage to work in a little me time, too (...that doesn't somehow get eaten up by internet or TV or any other mindless activities. Technology is such a time suck).

A few pictures and pins I'm liking (and that just so happen to describe exactly what I'm wanting):

SPRING BREAK 2010!!!

Apparently, I am incapable of doing spring break correctly. Last year, I got an ear infection and burst an eardrum. This year, I get some stomach virus that doesn't allow me to eat for a day (at least not successfully...). That was yesterday. Today, I can stand up for about .2 seconds at best without feeling completely dizzy. Fantastic. Also, I hate television.

End rant.

Hopefully, I will be better by tomorrow, at least for the most part. I hate being sick. I'm not a fan of laying on the couch all day with nothing better to do than watch TV (because my brain isn't even functioning well enough to read), or of having people constantly ask if I need anything.

Okay, end rant for real this time.

I guess it's better that it happens while I'm at home instead of at school. Talk about miserable!

Check back in a day or two. I'm sure things will be a little more positive around here by then. :)
